We are seeking postdoctoral researchers to create a clinically important, comprehensive cardiac imaging solution with a team of radiologists, cardiologists, and academic and industrial researchers. The project will advance CT imaging to include reliable perfusion measurements of myocardial tissue using the latest Philips Healthcare CT imaging technology with fast, wide field of view imaging. This advancement will allow CT to become the only imaging modality providing a “one stop shop” including vascular anatomy, vessel wall staging, and tissue perfusion. This will be exceedingly important for managing emergency patients in a timely, cost effective, and reliable manner. The position is an academic appointment at Case Western Reserve University within the Philips Healthcare Global Advanced Imaging Innovation Center at Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals of Cleveland.
The successful candidate should have knowledge of biomedical imaging, image analysis, computer vision, and/or signal processing. Specific knowledge of CT or cardiac imaging is a plus.
