Vision and Sensing Research Group - University of Canberra
Vision and Sensing Research Group was established at the Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering in January 2010 under the leadership of Assistant Professor Roland Goecke. The aim of the group is to a focal point of high quality, interdisciplinary research in the areas of vision and sensing.
Research areas of interest include:
- Computer vision
- Affective sensing
- Pattern recognition
- Multimodal signal processing
- Related areas
Their work covers both fundamental basic research as well as applied research. Application areas include (but are not limited to):
- Sports science / analysis
- Health
- Face authentication
- Surveillance
- Performance analysis
