Prof. Zadeh talks about Fuzzy logic and more

Professor Lotfali Askar Zadeh, better known as Lotfi A. Zadeh, is a mathematician, electrical engineer, computer scientist, artificial intelligence researcher and professor emeritus of computer science at the University of California, Berkeley.
The basic ideas underlying soft computing in current incarnation have links to many earlier influences, among them Prof. Zadeh’s 1965 paper on fuzzy sets; the 1973 paper on the analysis of complex systems and decision processes; and the 1979 report (1981 paper) on possibility theory and soft data analysis.
In his interview with NIPSIA and IPSIA, Prof. Zadeh talks about his memories from University of Tehran, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Electircal Engineering, and the underlying thoughts of Fuzzy logic.
